Thor
Male | Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees Mix | 4 yrs
No cats, Some dogs, Careful with Kids
A handsome giant with a loud mouth! He enjoys attention from people and being outside. You’ll find him with toys and tennis balls playing in the snow! Thor is good on a leash but gets jealous of other dogs and does not like cats. Ideally Thor heads to a farm or ranch where he can practice what he was bred for, herd protection! He’s built to live with and protect herd animals, and would love to be given a job. Thor weighs 100+ pounds and requires someone with a lot of confidence with large dogs.
-

Nova
Female | Australian Shepherd Mix | 6 yrs
No young children, No Cats
Our longest term resident! Nova was brought in with a male dog and a puppy in 2022, though she remains. Being in the shelter for so long has made her reactive and sassy, therefore she requires a slow introduction but is very affectionate when she is used to you. She does not get along with female dogs but has shown little to no aggression towards male dogs. Give her some time, you’ll love her as much as we do! Nova weighs around 30 pounds.
-

Sunny
Female | Mixed Breed | 5 yrs
No cats
Our blue eyed babe! Sunny is rather shy and takes time to warm up to most people. She absolutely loves water, anywhere with a pond, lake, or puddle to play in, will result in a happy girl. She’s full of energy and would do best in a home with a fenced yard. Her favorite toy is her leash, despite our best efforts to change that! Sunny weighs around 50 pounds.
-

Foxy
Female | Heeler Mix | 3 yrs
Some Dogs, Careful with children
Foxy Lady, though small, packs a lot of energy! This little gal ran wild for around two months before animal control was able to catch her! Unfortunately, that made her nearly feral when she arrived and therefore, she requires slow introductions and a lot of patience. Once she gets to know you, she’s so sweet! She would do best in a home with a fenced yard. Apartment life is not for her, unless you live a very active lifestyle and plan to take her with! Foxy weighs around 35 pounds. -

Bones
Male | Shepard Mix | 2 yrs
No kids
Bones has grown up in this shelter, he came in as a puppy and has reached adulthood with us! Though he gets along with all the dogs, his human interaction was limited as he grew up and he doesn’t have the best manners. He needs a quiet introduction to both humans and to a new environment. This little cutie has a favorite plastic ball that he carries with him everywhere. He loves treats and food, but does not love excitement or lots of new people at once. Bones is high energy, but also lazy, he would do best with a yard or someone living an active lifestyle! He weighs around 55 pounds.
-
Yoda
Male | Husky Mix | 4 yrs
No cats, No kids
Yoda does well with most dogs and adults. He is very high energy and can cause a bit of chaos when left home alone, so a yard or a space where he can hang out would be great! He loves to tear up fluffy dog toys and can easily escape a short fence if he’s feeling wily. Yoda has unfortunately come back to us twice due to his dislike of kitties and tendency to destroy fluffy things. Yoda is a wonderful dog who needs lots of entertainment and exercise! He weighs around 60 pounds.
-
Peyton
Male | Lab/St. Bernard/German Shepherd | 7 yrs
Careful with children, Some Dogs
A big, bouncy boy! He’s got the most handsome bark and loves food and treats! He’s very excitable but is learning commands quickly. This boy has come to us underweight, so we are working on building up his strength and getting more meat on his bones. A great dog who needs some extra loving! His ideal weight will be 90+ pounds.

Chase
Male | Pitbull Mix | 10 months
Some dogs, Careful with children
This cute little man came to us with his brother, Moonshine. Together, they are bullies and tend to nip at people, but separated, they’ve been much easier to handle! They’re learning how to be individuals and gain some confidence! Being puppies from a home without a lot of space has made them reactive to other dogs, but with the right training and patience, I’m confident Chase would make a great addition to your home! For a pup, he’s a hefty 50 pounds!

Moonshine
Male | Pitbull Mix | 10 months
No Small Dogs, Careful with children
This sturdy little man came to us with his brother, Chase. Together they are reactive and noisy, but separated, they’re much easier to handle and much quieter. We’re working on building up Moonshine’s independence and confidence. He came from a home without a lot of space and that has made him scared and reactive. Moonshine did not like the smaller dogs he was living with and we would recommend he goes to a home without other little dogs! This little chunk weighs 75 pounds already!
