  • Nova

    Female | Australian Shepherd Mix | 6 yrs

    Currently being fostered!

    No young children, No Cats

    Our longest term resident! Nova was brought in with a male dog and a puppy in 2022, though she remains. Being in the shelter for so long has made her reactive and sassy, therefore she requires a slow introduction. For most new introductions we muzzle her to keep everyone safe. Once she is comfortable with you, she is very affectionate. We call her “Our Princess.”
    She does not get along with female dogs but has shown little to no aggression towards male dogs. Give her some time, you’ll love her as much as we do!
    Nova weighs around 30 pounds.

  • Peyton

    Male | Lab/St. Bernard/German Shepherd | 7 yrs

    Careful with children, Some Dogs

    Peyton came to us at the end of December 2025. He’s a big, bouncy boy! He’s got the most handsome bark and would do nearly anything for food or treats! He’s very excitable but is following commands. Peyton loves chewable treats, bones, and snuggles. He’s a drooly man who will cover you and his favorite things in slobber! This sweet boy came to us underweight, but we’ve gotten him near his ideal weight now!
    Ideal weight will be 90+ pounds; currently 84 pounds.

  • Chase

    Male | Pitbull Mix | 1 year

    Some dogs, Careful with children

    This cute little man came to us for Christmas! Based on his behavior, we’re quite sure he was born and raised in a kennel setting, therefore, he does well in a kennel. He could use some more work on potty training and we’re working on commands. He is quite loud and a little protective of his space, so slow introductions are best. It may take a couple of interactions to win him over, but once you do, he won’t get out of your lap!
    For a pup, he’s a hefty 50 pounds!

  • Mae

    Female | Husky/German Shepherd | 3.5 year

    Good with kids, Some dogs

    Mae was brought to us in March 2026 for being a bit of an instigator! She’s shown some food aggression when it comes to other dogs, but loves people! She’s got a lot of energy and needs a little work on her manners. but, once she’s worn out, she’s is a cuddle bug! She loves the snow and in the summer is a water loving dog! Mae weighs about 55 pounds.

  • Leo

    Male | Lab/Doodle Mix | Born July 2024

    Neuter & rabies scheduled for 4/15/26

    Leo came to us with his brother and sister on April 3rd. Leo has lived with cats and been around kids but does tend to get excited and jump. Leo is the most mellow his siblings. Leo weighs 52 lbs.

  • Nala

    Female | Lab/Doodle Mix | Born July 2024

    Spay & rabies scheduled for 4/15/26

    Nala came to us with her brothers, Leo and Rocky, on April 3rd. Nala has lived with cats and been around kids but does tend to get excited and jump. Nala is a very sweet girl and weighs 50 lbs.

  • Rocky

    Male | Lab/Doodle Mix | Born July 2024

    Neuter & rabies scheduled for 4/15/26

    Rocky came to us with his brother and sister on April 3rd. Rocky has lived with cats and been around kids but does tend to get excited and jump. Rocky is the most rambunctious of his siblings. He has a lot to tell you and does howl. He’s a smart boy and eager to escape his kennel. Rocky weighs 48 lbs.

  • Greg

    Male | Mixed Breed | 1-2 years old

    Rabies shot scheduled 4.15.26

    Greg came to us on 4/6/26 after his owner left him with someone and never returned… Greg doesn’t let that get him down though! He’s a very nice boy that could work on his manners but has a great attitude and loves his water. He enjoys car rides too! Greg weighs 81 lbs.

  • Lilac

    Female | Coohound Mix | Born 8/5/2022

    No kids or large/high-energy dogs

    This lady came to us on April 7th, 2026. She is a good girl that is just a bit particular - she’s not a big fan of men or high-energy dogs. We hope to get her more comfortable with men while she is with us. Lilac has been to doggy daycare in Rapid at Meadowridge Pet Lodge. She will come with an impact kennel when she’s adopted as she has separation anxiety and can be a bit destructive when left home alone. She does well with cats and smaller, calm dogs. She is not a fan of children. Lilac weighs around 50 lbs.

  • Rowdy

    Male | Mini Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Born 12.24.2019

    Rabies scheduled 4.15.26

    Rowdy came to us on 4.10.26 after his owner passed. He is an energetic boy that loves to jump but is very sweet and does not appear food aggressive. We aren’t sure how he does with other dogs but we are optimistic he will do just fine. We are unsure how he does with cats. Rowdy weighs 39 lbs.
