Cosco was brought in as a stray in early 2024. She was pregnant and eventually gave birth at the shelter. All of her kittens were adopted but unfortunately she is still here. She is one of our longest stays currently at the shelter. She is a total sweetheart and loves human interaction.

She is FHV+ and would need to be an only cat. FHV isn’t as daunting as it sounds. There is no medication for FHV therefore her vet bills would be the same as any other cat!

Cosco has a cloudy eye and it’s from a scratch that healed. There’s no issue with it!

Sophie came in as a stray in January 2025. She is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy. She loves pets but will let you know when she wants her space. She has warmed up to having neighboring cats but would probably do best as the only cat. She is FIV+ so she would need to be indoors only. She has not shown any physical symptoms/health issues from the FIV. It was only discovered through routine testing.

The WHHS took in Domino from the reservation in April 2025. Since he came in, he’s been very reserved and keeps to himself. But 2026 might be his year - he’s started to come out of his shell and make his presence known! He’ll gladly take pets and would do better in a calmer home without many animals or kids. He’ll accept pets and when he’s decided he’s finished, he’ll either walk away but sometimes gets salty with a swat, but hey, he’s a cat…

Twilight was born at the shelter on May 1, 2025. She is the last of her 4 siblings still at the shelter. She is a very relaxed and gentle girl but is getting more and more outgoing (coming up to greet visitors) every day. She is in the cattery and likes to snuggle with the other cats. She’ll gladly take any pets that come her way.

Ellie came in as a stray in June 2025. Since then she has really opened up. She is quite curious and likes to explore. Ellie loves getting attention and pets as well - she’s absolutely gorgeous and we aren’t sure why she is still with us. Consider adding this beauty to your family!

Finn came in as a stray in October 2025. Since his first day here, he has been extremely sweet. He is in our cattery with other cats and does well. You’ll often find him snuggled up in a bed but will get up to come greet you.

Esmeralda and her grey Tortie sister, Eleanor, were brought to us on April 4th, 2026. Their parents were expecting a baby and these cats are not fans of children (many attempts were made to get to know kiddos in the family) so they came to us. Esmeralda does lick when she’s stressed so she has some bald patches or spots with thin hair - she’s still a beauty though! Esmeralda would love to join an adult or two in a quiet home. The sisters don’t get along that well and if adopted together, would likely keep their distance in their new home.

Esmeralda will come with her automatic feeder when adopted.

Hailey’s favorite kitty! Prego came to us as a pregnant stray in January 2026. She gave birth to 4 healthy babies and they have all been adopted. Like her, they were all named after sauces! Prego is an extremely affectionate cat with a bobtail that enjoys watching out the window, growling at anything out of the ordinary - she’d make a great guard dog! Prego loves to be pet, enjoys lounging around, and is always eager to say “hello!” She is currently in the cattery in her own kennel, where she has more room to roam and to be around other cats and we are curious if she’ll warm up to other kitties now that she doesn’t have kittens. Prego enjoys giving humans kisses!

Canyon came to us with 5 other cats in April 2026. Her owner was unable to care for them and it took awhile for us to gain ownership of them. We’ve gotten to know them over the last few months and they are all so sweet and FINALLY ready to go to a new home! Canyon has big beautiful eyes and is a bit more timid. But like her “sisters” she warms up to people and is a sweetheart once she’s comfortable.

Cascade came to us in July 2026 with 4 babies. She is a just a baby herself, definitely not a year old. She’s got that grumpy face but she is a sweet pea, just a little shy. A quiet home would be best for this gal. She does warm up to other cats, especially older ones and she isn’t too upset by the presence of small dogs.

Birkenstock came to us in July 2026 with her two kittens, Chaco & Keen. She’s just a baby herself and was very skinny. She took care of her babies and is eager to start a life with a new family, where she can be the young cat she is. She’s a slender beauty!

Arrived August 2026 with kittens of her own. She is a kitten herself and did her best to avoid her kittens…another mom took them in - whew! She is very vocal and sweet. She loves the freedom of the cattery and is a wonderful greeter.

Rover came to us 8/29/26 after he was used to be an indoor/outdoor cat and after moving, had to stay inside. He started marking inside and the former owners decided to seek our assistance in rehoming him. We are hopeful he just needs a fresh start and we’ve had great luck with cats with the same issues - once they get into a new home, these patterns have stopped. He’s affectionate and likes to cuddle, but does not like to be picked up. He is not a fan of some cats and not a fan of other animals. Based on the marking, that’s something that is common around children so a home with older children or adults would be recommended. He is getting along with his senior lady roommates and no marking had occurred with us yet!

Magi Lune came to us in August 2026 as a stray - a few others came in with her and are all named after Fern Gully characters. She’s a bit wiley but we are hoping she warms up! Her kiddos, Crysta and Hexxus are also with us. She’s a young mom, definitely under a year old. Stay tuned on her progress!

She needs someone that will give her all the love and is ready to receive more love than they’ve gotten from another cat. Michael Buble is very vocal and affectionate - He’s always singing his heart out and loves to purr. He loves to demand attention. He’s small but growing into quite the handsome guy! He’s playful but also lazy. His true kitten energy will probably show in his new home.

Sophie Grey came to us early Oct 2026 after one of her owners experienced declining health. Sophie Grey is super soft and sweet, but when she’s done receiving pets that means no more… She will bite being over-petted but is VERY sweet if you keep things mellow. We think Sophie Grey would do best in a home without kids and as the only pet. As we get to know her, maybe that will change!

Stud Muffin came to us as a stray early October 2026. He’s the total package and, well, a total stud muffin! He’s a handsome boy but doesn’t seem to be a big fan of other cats.

Declawed - Indoor Only!

Officer Hopps came to us in early Oct. 2026 after his family experienced some hardships and couldn’t continue caring for him. He has lived with a small dog and did well with it and we will see how he does with his senior (cat) neighbors!

From his former family: He doesn’t mind older children. He would be better suited in a home without younger children or where children visit occasionally. He is typically outgoing and friendly - always ready for a pet and snuggles. He can be very clingy and vocal - he will gladly jump on your lap, even in the bathroom, because it is never a bad time for snuggles. A perfect shadow but sometimes underfoot. In the past he did struggle to use litter boxes with a lid - he was not a fan of that. He occasionally struggles with anal gland issues, but getting them expressed manually helps. This isn’t a “big” issue, but I would take him in if I noticed he seemed off.

Officer Hopps will come with a nice set of food bowls & a carrier when adopted.

Daisy-Kay came to us after having some temperamental issues in her home. She is declawed and that can cause behavioral issues like her known issues of marking furniture.

From the former owner: Hello, My name is Daisy-Kay. I’m a 2 year old Siamese Tabby, and once I warm up to you, I’ll be your best friend forever! I love to play with strings, fishing poles with feathers, laser pointers, and boxes. I have a larger than life personality and an even bigger heart. I will love you until the end, but I don’t like to share my humans with other cats, it makes me feel threatened and behave naughty. But I’m the world’s best cuddler, and I’ll sleep right by your side every night. I’m a purring machine, and I love to meet all kinds of people (the more attention I can get the better)!

She really is a sweet, affectionate, social girl who would be wonderful for a retired person or a family here the attention comes from numerous outlets, but she must be the only cat, and she needs space to play. She doesn’t do well in small spaces and gets anxious if her human is home and inaccessible (like if you close a door while you’re in a room).
