Crunchy
Male | Senior | FCV+ and Stomatitis
Crunchy came to us in December 2023. He is currently our longest staying cat at the shelter. Crunchy is very old and therefore has very little energy. He is very mellow but also super sweet. He would be a perfect lap cat.
Due to his FCV and stomatitis, he is on prednisone everyday. The meds make him thirsty and he drinks a ton of water.
Seniors are $25 to adopt or ask about our Senior for Senior program!

Cosco
Female | Undetermined age (~3 years) | FHV+
Cosco was brought in as a stray in early 2024. She was pregnant and eventually gave birth at the shelter. All of her kittens were adopted but unfortunately she is still here. She is one of our longest stays currently at the shelter. She is a total sweetheart and loves human interaction.
She is FHV+ and would need to be an only cat. FHV isn’t as daunting as it sounds. There is no medication for FHV therefore her vet bills would be the same as any other cat!
Cosco has a cloudy eye and it’s from a scratch that healed. There’s no issue with it!
-

Sophie
Female | Undetermined age (~2-5 years) | FIV+
Sophie came in as a stray in January 2025. She is the perfect mix of sweet and sassy. She loves pets but will let you know when she wants her space. She also does not like other cats. She is FIV+ so she would need to be an only cat anyways. She has not shown any physical symptoms/health issues from the FIV. It was only discovered through routine testing.

Domino
Male | Born late 2024/early 2025
The WHHS took in Domino from the reservation in April 2025. Since he came in, he’s been very reserved and keeps to himself. But 2026 might be his year - he’s started to come out of his shell and make his presence known! He’ll gladly take pets and would do better in a calmer home without many animals or kids. He’ll accept pets and when he’s decided he’s finished, he’ll either walk away but sometimes gets salty with a swat, but hey, he’s a cat…
-

Twilight
Female | 1+ year
Twilight was born at the shelter on May 1, 2025. She is the last of her 4 siblings still at the shelter. She is a very relaxed and gentle girl but is getting more and more outgoing (coming up to greet visitors) every day. She is in the cattery and likes to snuggle with the other cats. She’ll gladly take any pets that come her way.
-

Ellie
Female | Undetermined age (~3 years)
Ellie came in as a stray in June 2025. Since then she has really opened up. She is quite curious and likes to explore. Ellie loves getting attention and pets as well.
-

Tabby
Female | ~1-2 years
Tabby came to us as a stray in August 2025. She has become more social and affectionate recently and we are so happy to see her happy! But, she would sure be happier in a loving home and out of the kennel. We hope you come and fall in love with this gorgeous gal!
-

Starry
Male | ~1 year
Starry was brought in as a stray in August 2025. He is in a walk in with other kitty friends. He is very playful and loves toys and scratchers. He can be a little shy at first, but once he knows you want to pet him, he’s a happy boy! He’s becoming vocal for more attention and loves to give his kennel pals massages - it’s ADORABLE. Seems curious of dogs!
-

Finn
Male | Undetermined age (~2 years)
Finn came in as a stray in October 2025. Since his first day here, he has been extremely sweet. He is in our cattery with other cats and does well. You’ll often find him snuggled up in a bed but will get up to come greet you.
-

Grace
Female | 14+ years
Grace was one of the 5 cats that came from the hoarding situation on November 20th. She was also severely matted and had to be shaved. Her hair has been growing back nicely! She gets a bit startled by noises and hides but quickly realizes she’s safe and comes back out. She loves to snuggle up on some blankets and enjoys head rubs. Grace does not like other cats and would do best as the only pet in a quiet home.
Grace likely has a tumor so we’d like to find her a foster for her final months.
-

Cleo Catra
Female | Born April 2022
Probably no other animals | Indoor only
Cleo Catra came to us on 3.27.26. She is a sweet girl that adores pets and is just a little unsure in her new environment. Cleo does not like other animals and will pee on things if other animals are present in the home. She does not like big groups so would do best in a quiet home with fewer people. She might not do well with younger children. She is affectionate to her human and it was a hard surrender for her former owner. Orange females are rare and she’s a total catch.
-

Esmeralda
Female | Born 9/10/2015
No young children, preferably no other pets
Esmeralda and her grey Tortie sister, Eleanor, were brought to us on April 4th, 2026. Their parents were expecting a baby and these cats are not fans of children (many attempts were made to get to know kiddos in the family) so they came to us. Esmeralda does lick when she’s stressed so she has some bald patches or spots with thin hair - she’s still a beauty though! Esmeralda would love to join an adult or two in a quiet home. The sisters don’t get along that well and if adopted together, would likely keep their distance in their new home.
Esmeralda will come with her automatic feeder when adopted.
Seniors are $25 to adopt or ask about our Senior for Senior program!

Eleanor
Female | Born 9/10/2015
No young children, no other pets
Eleanor and her Tortie sister, Esmeralda, were brought to us on April 4th, 2026. Their parents were expecting a baby and these cats are not fans of children (many attempts were made to get to know kiddos in the family) so they came to us. Eleanor is a little spicy and would do best in a quiet home with only a few adults that respected her space - she’ll come to you when she wants affection. The sisters don’t get along that well and if adopted together, would likely keep their distance in their new home.
Eleanor will come with her automatic feeder when adopted.

Prego
Female | Undetermined age (~5 years)
No dogs, preferably no cats
Hailey’s favorite kitty! Prego came to us as a pregnant stray in January 2026. She gave birth to 4 healthy babies and they have all been adopted. Like her, they were all named after sauces! Prego is an extremely affectionate cat with a bobtail that enjoys watching out the window, growling at anything out of the ordinary - she’d make a great guard dog! Prego loves to be pet, enjoys lounging around, and is always eager to say “hello!” She is currently in the cattery in her own kennel, where she has more room to roam and to be around other cats and we are curious if she’ll warm up to other kitties now that she doesn’t have kittens. Prego enjoys giving humans kisses!
-

Smores
Female | Undetermined age (~1 year)
Might do well with an older or chill cat & might do well with a small dog
Smores came in with her kittens, Kamp and Fyre, on 5.26.26 after being dumped out on some property. She is happy to be away from her needy boys and relaxing after all her hard work as a mom. She does not appear to like other cats very much and does not like dogs. She’s a real people lover though! Nothing would make her happier than to nap in your lap!
-

Lawrence
Male | Undetermined age
Lawrence came to us on 5.26.26 after living as a stray. He is a little feisty but is up front to try to work on socializing. The family that kept tabs on him said he was a sweet kitty that they could hold so we look forward to meeting this version of him!
-

Dr. Mittens
Male | Born 2022-2023
ON HOLD
Dr. Mittens came to us as a sad cat named Mittens in early June 2026. He had terrible ear mites and was destroying his own ears from the pain and itchiness. He is a large kitty that has finally found some relief after medicine and rest. He is coming out of his shell and is a total lovebug! He can be scared at first (we don’t think his former humans were too kind to him) but is a silly boy that rolls around playfully. He tempts you with belly rubs, but does not actually enjoy them… He still has some wounds healing, but we are so happy his heart and trust in humans are beginning to heal too. Give this big ol’ orange boy the love and home he deserves…
-

Spino
Male | Born 4.1.2015
Spino came to us at 11 years old in June 2026. He is a senior that is taking time to adjust but we are looking forward to getting to know this sweet older boy. He’ll be in our senior room and we’ve love for you to come fall for this big hunk.

-

Arthur
Male | Born 2024
Arthur is a young, handsome fella looking for his new forever home! He came to us June 2026 after his owner was unable to continue to care for him. He was very loved and has a lot of personality. He’s ready to start his next chapter would love another cat to play with. Seems curious of dogs!

Thackery Binx
Male | Born around 5/11/26

-

Nox

-

MooMoo
Female | Born ~4.24.26
Taking applications, not available until after spay
The spiciest of the “ice cream” babies. MooMoo is slowly learning to trust humans after living as a feral. Come give her some love!
-

Chaco Taco
Female | Born ~4.24.26
Taking applications, not available until after spay
Chaco Taco is coming around and learning humans give treats and pets so they aren’t so bad. Choco Taco has gorgeous green eyes and we think they might stick! Her and her “ice cream” siblings are excited for their next adventure!
-

Tildy
Female | 8 years old
Tildy is around 8 years old. She came to us in June 2026 after her elderly owner could no longer care for her and no family could keep her. She came in with severe mats and we have worked to shave those away and she sure does feel better now! She is quite the adventurer in her new space, but also loves to be lazy. She has lived with cats, dogs, men, women, and children, so she should acclimate to any home well!
Seniors are $25 to adopt or ask about our Senior for Senior program!
-

Hambone
Male | ~1 year old
Hambone came to us as a stray in June 2026. He is the sweetest boy that hangs out in the silliest positions! If you want a lover boy, he’s purrrfect! He doesn’t seem bothered by his neighboring cats and met a small dog that he allowed to lick his ears!
-

Chongus
Male | ~1 year old
Chongus came to us as a stray and we believed him to be feral. He’s not feral at all but he’s pretty scared. He’s a giant sweetie that would do well in a quiet home where he can come out of his shell.
-

Zeus
Male | 13 years old
Waiting on bloodwork for skin concerns, we know he will need dental work
Zeus is a Maine Coon mix - a BIG boy! He’s an older gentlemen that needs some TLC and he will be visiting the groomer on 7/8/26 for a much needed shave and bath. He’ll be feeling fresh and looking for his forever home. He has lived with cats, dogs, and children. He does get defensive with dogs if they are too “up-in-his-business.”

-

Posie
Female | Born 6.5.2020
Front declaw - Indoor only!
Posie came to us July 7, 2026. She is a sweet little gal that is shy around other cats but we hope to help her gain confidence. She was surrendered for peeing on beds and laundry. We have had a lot of success with cats with temperamental cats just needing a change of space. She’s a doll that has lived with other cats and children and is a bit nervous around younger, loud children.
-

Coati
Male | Born ~2023
Coati came to us after being a stray turned pet that just never fit in with his adoptive family. He was called Mittens but we decided that he needed a more unique name for his unique look! He is said to be nervous around men, can warm up to children but prefers adults, and has a habit of picking fights with other cats. He was recently neutered so we hope he can make kitty friends here! He has not lived with dogs but was introduced to a small dog here at WHHS and seemed curious. He’s used to being outside but does enjoy the company of humans. He just arrived on 7/9/26 so we are still getting to know him while he adjusts.
